Libby Dozier
Executive Assistant to the CEO
Libby Dozier, an Executive Assistant for SIR, brings her expertise in communications and technology to support CEO and President, John Martin. As a true member of Gen Z, Libby lends her vivacity and youthful voice to SIR, helping the team keep our finger on the pulse of our trends and generational research.
Not only did Libby graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, but she also received awards in Broadcast Journalism and achieved academic honors throughout her collegiate experience.
Prior to joining SIR, Libby supported Dozier Tank and Welding as an Office Manager where she developed essential skills in organization, communication, and office management. We are excited Libby has joined our team at SIR and look forward to her continued positive contributions.
Originally from the Virginia Beach area, Libby now resides in Henrico where she enjoys time with her dog, Jack.
Learning to Adapt:
I strongly believe in the value of education, but that knowledge doesn’t just come from a classroom. You can always learn something from everything you do and everyone you meet if you look hard enough. I believe that to be successful you need to be able to learn from your surroundings and adapt. That idea has served me well, especially during my senior year of college. I graduated in December 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I would say those semesters taught me the most. Learning to adapt to an uncertain and ever-changing environment wasn’t easy, but I gained some very useful skills that I use at SIR every day.
