As an Advisor specializing in qualitative research, Rebecca manages our online focus group Virtual Community platform and other qualitative research engagements — from recruitment and discussion guide development to analysis and reporting of findings. 

However, like a true SIR veteran, Rebecca’s talents and range of expertise can’t be summed up so tidily. So, while she may be working behind the scenes to ensure the digital user experience for our Virtual Communities remains seamless (and that respondents get their incentives), you’ll also find her out front studying new research approaches to strengthen our practice. Her ability to synthesize the vast amount of thoughts and ideas generated in our qualitative approaches means our clients never miss an insight. 

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Rebecca dove into transitioning our traditionally in-person strategic planning and stakeholder engagement workshops to a digital format, helping to ensure our virtual meetings benefitted from SIR’s interactive tools to provide a unique experience that heightens pre-meeting preparation, in-meeting dialog, and post-meeting reflection. 

Above all, you can always count on Rebecca and her work to be sincere, heartfelt, and kind because that’s just who she is whether she’s on the clock or not. But when she’s not righting the qualitative research ship, you can be sure she’s out paddle boarding on the James River, helping to plan a wonderful birthday surprise for a friend, or simply moving to a fine groove.
